About Us
A winery overlooking the Maremma sea
Our story
We are a young venture, born from the desire to enhance a unique territory and to create wines that faithfully express its character. Our project takes shape at Poggio alle Forche, in Maremma, where a passion for winemaking meets a deep respect for the land and its natural balance. Though a recent venture, we chose a clear direction from the very start: to work with care, consistency and respect, with no compromise on quality.
A unique territory
Our vineyard is located at Poggio alle Forche, a small hill overlooking the Piombino Channel, with views of the Island of Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago. The microclimate is exceptional: sea currents moderate summer temperatures, salty winds bring natural minerality to the grapes, and the clay-rich mineral soils give our wines a structure and complexity found only in this stretch of coastal Maremma. Maremma is not just a geographical place — it is a character, a proud and wild identity that we find in every bottle.
Our harvest
Each year, when the grapes reach their ideal ripeness, the harvest begins: a labour of experience, care and passion. From selecting the bunches directly in the vineyard to transporting them to the cellar, every stage is carried out with care to preserve the quality and the characteristics that make our wines unique.
Our wines
Vermentino
Our Vermentino is a white wine produced on the coast of Tuscan Maremma. On the nose it offers notes of white flowers, citrus and gentle Mediterranean nuances. On the palate it is fresh and linear, with good savouriness and a mineral-tinged finish. It pairs naturally with fish dishes, shellfish and Mediterranean cuisine.
Rosé
Our rosé is made from Vermentino and Syrah grapes grown in Maremma, vinified to preserve freshness and aromatic integrity. The wine shows an intense, luminous pink colour. On the nose it is fine and delicate, with floral and fruity notes. On the palate it is fresh and savoury, well balanced, with a fresh, linear finish. It pairs well with light starters, summer dishes and seafood.
Red
Coming in September.
For us, sustainability is not a trend but a way of living and cultivating the land. Every decision we make in the vineyard stems from the awareness that the quality of a wine depends, above all, on the health of the environment that produces it.
We tend our vineyards with the goal of preserving soil fertility, encouraging biodiversity and maintaining the natural balance of the ecosystem. We keep invasive interventions to a minimum, respect the rhythms of nature and carefully observe every stage of the vine's growing cycle.
We believe the vineyard is not merely a place of production, but a heritage to safeguard for future generations. That is why we adopt agronomic practices that help keep the soil alive, protect the landscape and enhance the unique characteristics of our territory.
Maremma is an extraordinary land, still authentic and deeply connected to its natural rhythms. Our daily commitment is to interpret it with respect, so that every harvest can tell its truest identity.
